
MARIANNE AMOS
Principal Marianne founded The Dance Studio back in 1985 under the name the Tunbridge Wells Dance & Drama Studios. She very quickly expanded to include Paddock Wood, Kemsing & Otford.
Having also studied at The Weguelin School of Russian Ballet, Marianne has choreographed and starred in many stage productions.
Marianne also works as a Booker for Happy Feet Management.

JESSICA MCEWEN
After joining Otford and Kemsing Dance & Drama Studios in 1985, Jessica has now been with The Dance Studio for over 35years. She took on teaching her first class age 16 and soon after gained her teaching qualifications under the instruction of Yvonne Creber, current president of the NATD. After competing as a child, she founded our successful competition team in 2013 and has organised many events with them including three trips to Disneyland Paris.
As well as teaching, Jessica works extensively as a choreographer for both theatre and corporate events. She works in many local schools running classes and workshops. She is also a co-founder of the extremely popular Sevenoaks Dance Festival.
Teaching is definitely Jessica's passion and she loves seeing many of her pupils go on to take their dancing to the next level by either progressing through to their teaching exams or on to professional college.

LAURA DRURY

Laura Drury trained at The Italia Conti Theatre School. (Some of the children may know this as 'School For Stars' as shown on CBBC). Laura is an accomplished, professional dancer who has performed at the prestigious Brit Awards and starred in music videos which include the multi award winning band - "Feeder". She has also appeared on the highly popular E4 show - "Misfits" and in 'Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire'.
Others credits include dancing for Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother, support act for Michael McIntyre, Liberty X and Alexandra Burke, performing for World Class Car Company BMW touring in China and starring in Snow White at London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. She currently works with Danny Foster touring with The Big Soul Corporation Show, as well as being a full time mummy to her beautiful children, Madeleine, Matilda and Orson.
Laura has also used her talents to create the company - Pure Edge Productions - for which she has danced and choreographed shows in Moscow, Shanghai and London.


ZOE MAXWELL
Zoe has been with The Dance Studio for 20 years!
Zoe trained in professional Musical Theatre at Reynolds Performing Arts. Since graduating her professional credits include; Ensemble in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Featured vocalist and dancer in the UK tour of Silver Bells, filmed with MTV and has performed at several corporate events as a Dancer.
Zoe is currently the Dance Captain for London’s professional dance company ‘Jazz House Theatre’. 
As well as performing Zoe works as a Dance/Musical Theatre teacher and choreographer for multiple companies and productions across the south east, choreographing shows for large theatres, events, smaller scale productions and arts exams. She absolutely loves teaching and passing on her knowledge to the next generation of young Dancers.

LOTTIE TERRY

Lottie studies ballet, tap, modern, and commercial dance, alongside contemporary and lyrical with The Dance Studio. She has competed locally and nationally with TDS Senior Company, and was recently awarded the National Association of Teachers of Dancing theatrical scholarship for Senior Tap. Lottie has a passion for teaching dance, and currently teaches ballet and tap classes in Otford. Lottie is currently in the audition process for vocational colleges in order to pursue her dance education after GCSES, in the hopes to working professionally in the dance industry.

HANNAH REEVES
Hannah has been dancing from the age of 2 with The Dance Studio, she takes regular classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical and Street with Phoenix dance. Recently joining the TDS competition team she has competed in both group and solo performances. Hannah is currently taking GCSE dance and hopes to go onto a dance career later on in life. She helps with younger classes from ages 3 to 11 at both the TDS Company and Phoenix Dance. Theatre and performance is a huge part of Hannah’s life as she has either been on the stage dancing or watching performances from a young age, so the pandemic where she could not do either affected her massively.
